13 YEARS OLD - ADULTS OF ALL AGES

BEGINNING TO ADVANCED

Private Voice Lessons, for youth 13 years of age up to adults of all ages, are available for all skills levels, from Beginning to Advanced. The Classical style is the foundational technique used for building healthy vocal production for singing Classical, Musical Theatre, and other genres of music. 

INVESTMENT
Monthly Tuition is $140 per month for 30 minute weekly lessons and is $200 per month for 45 minute weekly lessons. Tuition is paid monthly at the first lesson of each month.

INTRODUCTORY AUDITION LESSON
The introductory audition lesson allows us the opportunity to determine if we are a good student-teacher match. Please bring music and come prepared to sing. The Introductory Audition Lesson is complimentary upon invitation.  

PHILOSOPHY
I use the Classical style as the foundation for building healthy vocal technique for singing Classical, Musical Theatre, and other genres of music. We work together to understand and reach musical goals for each student. In addition to our focus on correct vocal technique and improved sound, students will learn a variety of new information and skills, including the understanding of the body's anatomy as far as it relates to singing, effective practice techniques, and performance skills. If needed, the first several lessons will focus on learning to read music and the basic skills required to learn his/her vocal part on the piano. Lessons may also include music theory, ear training, and sight singing skills. 

VOCAL COACHING
These sessions are for students who are preparing for performances, auditions, or competitions and who wish to have some additional assistance in preparing for these events. These sessions are usually a temporary arrangement, lasting anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months. The focus of these sessions will be on performance skills and the polishing of repertoire. The student may be required to hire an accompanist for these sessions. Depending upon the circumstances, a vocal coaching may be arranged for children under 13 years of age.
